well, i purchased 5 days extra at the beginning of the year

spread the $ hit over the year

but that was prior to being forced to take 10 days "voluntairy unpaid time off"

so, to counteract that to only 5, im going to sell back the purchased vacation.

unless i decide to just say f it and go snowboarding in canada for 2 weeks or something.

Whistler is awesome. I went there two years ago! My favorite ski area is, of course, South Lake Tahoe though. Ski by day, gamble/drink for free by night... can't beat it. Plus the views are .

I've never been to Banff but I know it is more central to Calgary... Vancouver is, IMO, one of the nicest cities in the world and you can make it part of your trip if you go to Whistler...

yeah.

last year it was kinda neat, they already had the like men's downhill slopes and super g slopes marked on the trail maps.

i plan on watching and being all "i busted my ass right there"

plus, the week after christmas is their biggest week of the year, by far

they get a ton of euros that fly over for the week, and drop huge cash, hotels go up 3-4x normal price that week... according to the bartenders i befriended
