i really hate the emaciated look. i know if i didn't feel so shitty about how i looked, i probably wouldn't care as much. but i much rather see pictures of sophia vergara and women like that. especially kate winslet, my absolute fav all time.

I was ranting to my best friend the other day about something similar. I get really annoyed when famous women like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Love Hewitt "announce" they are a size 0 or 2 when really I'm sitting there going "there ain't no way KK's ass fits in a size 2." I just don't get why they lie about it. I can careless what size they are. Just be honest!

Though w/vanity sizing, maybe KK and JLH are a size 2 in some sizes. In my closet, there's a range of sizes. It's sad when a size 6 is tighter than a size 2. It's really bad with vintage clothing.

^ I buy her size 0. She's 5'1" or 5'2". And a size 0 and size 6 can be interchangeable based on the company.

Yes, but you ladies are both taller than 5'1". I have gfs who wear the tiniest clothing, but it's all in respect to their height. If you're even a little taller, then you wouldn't want to fit in a 0!!!

AND, I saw the video where KK barely squeezed her butt into a size 27 pair of jeans ... which is a size 4 or 6.

Not sure where the 2 comes from. I think it's because her clothing was re-labeled. BC she SQUEEZED into a 27.

Vanity sizing makes everything confusing though.

Vanity sizing makes it very difficult to purchase anything these days. Unless you're buying from a designer/brand you trust.

And vintage clothing is nuts! My aunt gave me all of her old clothing from the 80s ... and the sizes are SOOO different from today's sizes!

I don't care how tall or short she is, her ass and thighs do not fit into a size 0.

Size 27 is ideally a size 4. Kim might be a size 2 in waist but not in hips and butt.

Where the detail stops at her hips makes them look larger, the slit makes her thighs look fat when they poke out...would have been better as a side slit. I don't think the plunging Vneck & the middle slit look good together on this dress.
