we have so much trouble scoring and need someone on the floor that can get us buckets at any time.

i hope this helps with that, along with Zo and Wood. With the addition to johnson and purvis in the back court hopefully Wood will open more since he has issues creating is own shot.

Dont forget that Painter, Vandy and CJL are pretty tall. I have heard that CJL has already put an extra 3 inches on his vert since training with Gotts S&C program.

please don't think that I have passed judgement on these players after their freshman year. All I'm talking about is their immediate impact. I definitely think Brown is going to be a good player and Leslie has the chance to be elite. But they were not the immediate saviors we thought. That's all I'm trying to say. We pump these kids up and delude ourselves and that makes the resulting collapse even worse, it's a shitty cycle. Let's just see how Gottfried does before we get STOKED into thinking we are a top 25 team with Purvis.

i meant more that there was a long history of failures to live up to expectation, i should not have included these current freshmen in my opinion. that's not cool at all.

They weren't immediate saviors, but who really thought they would be? I have no doubt that a team with CJL, Brown and Purvis is going to do big things very soon.
