I'm still trying to get the courage to down my PWO shake. I'm not going to risk putting in any carb source in this shake tonight, because I know that would be coming right back up and simultaneously give me a migraine for the rest of the night.

Ran 3 miles this morning (and it was cold as shit here too... first deep freeze since I've been out here)... chest, arms and back this afternoon then 2 hours of basketball this evening... then a weekend of undoing all the good I've done by boozing.

I'll probably play some ball tonight for an hour or two... not lifting this week since I tweaked a lower back muscle last weekend skiing avoiding a moron who couldn't stay on his feet.

Clean and presses ....lots of the them

warmed up with oh squat w/ bar, dips, and pull ups. did a few light sets of high pulls before and after.

I was one of two in the weights area, so I made chalk clouds and turned the ipod up LOUD.

yesterday was 30 minutes on a stair climber while watching kill bill, then some light weights.

i foresee fast walking rather than running tonight. tummy is being cranky.

I'm not sure if I saw them, or people just returning after tiny holiday hours/going at a different time due to it being damn cold. However, lots of new faces, and several looking to join ie. being shown around/talking to front desk. I'm going to have to go later in the day, or just say fuck it and let the dumb asses get clocked by teh weight i'm cleaning/snatching.

Jumped Again Today....wanted to do reactive jumps but the box was missing from the gym. Instead we jumped on to thick bumper plates. Went for a PR, got it, and tried to go for another rep but I fucking ate it Picked my ass up and nailed it again, we had a good laugh.

Box Squats in to distance jumps.
Extended ROM Bulgarian Split Squats.
Band Good Mornings.
Grip Work.

My shin, ass and pride hurts like shit.

surprisingly enough, my gym was empty yesterday. there were only 3 people I didn't recognize in there, and they spent the entire time I was in there talking to each other and not lifting.

I had to resort to using the rack for oly's today. I was nervous about all the new people. I still had people walk right up to the bar, and one couple doing cutsey shit (touchy feely flirtying) while sharing a bench, right beside me. I had to ask the to move, as I was afraid I'd hit them.

I told them, "Fine, stay there. If you get hit, it's not my fault." They quickly got the picture, and left.
