I can do it if its a game, like bball, football, anything really, but just doing it to do it bores me to death after a few weeks. And I even get really really quick results, still doesnt help

Yeah it's hard to stay on the damn thing for so long when you're bored of it.

You should get like a weekly game together, or sign up for some office team, or at the YMCA. That'd be fun right? Good way to meet people in a new environment too!

If you're getting bored, find something new or workout with friends.

None of my friends are interested in working out, I've tried and tried. I'm probably going to go back to the elliptical shortly and maybe some stairmaster as a warm up.

I miss you Shannon

The boyfriend wants chinese for lunch...boo. I wanted to eat with him but is there anything at a chinese restaurant that isn't Satan?

I love white rice and don't use soy sauce.

I don't eat Chinese so I couldn't tell you but I'm sure eating the veggies raw, and the meat without all those sauces, will be better than nothing?

there are a lot of things at a chinese restaurant that aren't bad for you.

people just never fucking order it.

they always get sesame chicken, general tso's or some other fried bullshit.

you teach nutrition, use your fucking head.

^Woah there mister. I said I teach nutrition...not that I am an expert. There is no need for you to jump all over my case for asking a question. I would think with your lifestyle you would be more willing to help people who are asking for it, not condemn them.

It's people like you who help cause people to have low self esteem and in turn, binge eat, or feel like they don't need to be healthy because everyone else already thinks lowly of them anyway.

You need to get off your high horse. I came here for information, not to smell your rosy ass.

And III normally order chicken and vegetables or chicken and mushrooms...
So fuck you and your generalizations. I am just not familar with what they cook the chicken in and didn't want to be ordering something loaded with sodium.

hahahahhhahahahahahahhahahahahahaha

as for the generalizations, they were just that. if you used your powers of reading comprehension they never specifically targeted you.

You're very condescending. "Use your powers of reading comprehension"...you just can't help it, can you?

It's kinda hard for me to see how you saying "YOU teach, use YOUR fucking head" does not specifically target me, but okay. You win Luis. Go run a marathon or something.

I think I'm going to just not risk it and have lunch here today. Thanks Luis, you helped curb my taste for an asian themed lunch.

Again with the negativity. It's called a typo, you freak. And calling me a fatty is definitely what this thread needs. Not only have you questioned my reading ability, my reasoning ability, and my spelling ability, but now you're resorting to elementary school name calling.

Bravo LIUS. You've succeeded to establish yourself as the wolfwebber of the day. Enjoy your reign and the enjoyment you get out of making other people feel bad.

Very interesting read; what do you think tdub?

http://health.msn.com/dietfitness/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=100164555&page=1

I might get some of these items but I bet they are sold in Fresh Market or organic markets and may be pricey.

EDIT:^That's very true, I feel addicted to exercise. I get upset if I don't get to go and feel all out of whack for the day. Even in my personal trainer sessions I'm saying "Let's go up more weight" or "Let's do something really hard and tire me out." he loves it1 ha

Nope. Guy said I shouldn't go below 155lbs. but we'll see about that. As long as I'm toned with little body fat I don't care what the scale says.

seems like if you lifted weights and did cardio you could get below 155 pretty easy...why did that guy say not to go below 155?

My height mainly and that he didn't want me to get "too thin". I've gained a shit ton of muscle mass so I don't know if his opinion holds any weight or not. But like I said, when I get to that toned body then we'll see hwat the scale says and go form there.

Just do the Christian Bale diet:

Quote :
"The producers of the film claim that Christian Bale dropped from about 180 pounds in weight down to about 120 pounds in weight to make this film. They also claim that Bale actually wanted to drop down to 100 pounds, but that they would not let him go below 120 out of fear that his health could be in too much danger if he did. His diet consisted of one can of tuna and an apple per day. His 63-pound weight loss is said to be a record for any actor for a movie role."

Make that your cheat day but also decide what you will eat before you get there. Grilled chicken and maybe a salad, hold the dressing. Also, portion size. restaraunts offer WAY too much food these days, eat a ver small amount and box the rest.

My problem always has been and still is, stopping myself from clearing the plate. It's not that I want to eat all that food but some complx in my brain says it needs to be empty. If I'm multi tasking while eating I'll clean the entire thing, I have to pay super close attention. It's tough but my body is thanking me for not taking in those unwanted calories.

OH AND MY SCALE SAYS IM DOWN TWO POUNDS. I weighed myself last night and it said 169.0lbs. This morning I did it when I first woke up and it said 166.2lbs. So I ate some breakfast then got naked and weighed myself, 167.2lbs. I've gotten that reading a few times now. I'm gonna weigh myself around the same time tonight and see what it says and then see what the reading says the next few days.

HOLY CRAP IF IT'S REALZ THOUGH.

almost everyone offers salads, and you can choose one that's semi healthy. Also, a lot of places will substitute grilled vegetables for potatoes or fries. you can always find something healthy to eat so long as you don't get dragged to a Friendly's or Bob Evans.

^ Yep. I went to Kemps last week for lunch with a co-worker who is leaving. It's not a place that I'd normally go while on a diet, but I got grilled Mahi Mahi with steamed veggies and a house salad with balsamic vinagrette (sp?). It turned out to be a really good lunch even though I didn't get any fried skrimps or french fries.

When I went to Waffle House (again, out with friends) I just ordered a water and waited until I got home to eat.
