Seeing Halko up there, I met one of his cousins when I was in Pensacola Florida. That was interesting.

So do the 'Canes have to jump into making moves now with the defense getting knocked a man down every game? Carson impressed me last night, I hope he stays up as he was far more defensively sound than Conboy. I get scared when Conboy is on defense, I liked him as a wing his skating is just not that good that I often closed my eyes when he was out there. The Wild need offense, we need defense, do we make a move with them? I think Marek Zidlicky would be a good one on our team minus his salary. But who would go? I just know that we probably can't make the playoffs with an AHL backline and might need to make something happen if Gleason, Seidenberg, Wallin and Babchuk's injuries are all bad.

But like I said, Carson I thought played really well overall and I would rather him play over Conboy on defense any day. Conboy is pretty much a fighter at the NHL level with his lack of skating ability.

Seidenberg is playing Thursday.
Gleason might play Saturday.
Babchuk will be back in 2 weeks.

We are having trouble enough scoring as it is so I don't think we need to trade away any offense.

Okay good, I'm glad Seidenberg is coming back. In my opinion (don't have to agree) he's been the best defenseman we've had this year. Glad Gleason will be back soon too. Just don't send Carson back, I think he was the best of the River Rats playing. I liked his positioning on a lot of plays and looked very comfortable for his first NHL game.

As for trouble scoring, I think last night was the first game I've been to all year that they weren't as afraid to shoot. That's what they need to do, the shots were helping create chances and if they keep it up, we'll be a lot better off. Just have to start crashing the net more.
