what do you think about ppl that judge whether ppl are full of themselves?

if it's warranted, I don't see what the problem is about someone else saying another person is full of themselves... Sometimes it's the truth, and honesty is the best policy! I don't like it when people (who are in fact full of themselves) judge other people, though, and say that they are full of themselves.. When in fact it's the other way around. It's no good when one person judges the other with no reason as well.

I hope that all made sense haha.

You should try to go to Indian Beach.. it's less crowded, and is just much better all around than most of the public beach accesses near there. What do you guys do at your meetings?

Well, this was just a gathering to eat and OC at the restaurant. It's something a lot of people who OC try to do whenever possible, just to show people that there's nothing wrong with it and that normal folks OC. I probably don't help the cause too much though, because I tend to look like a crazy person son.


I rarely OC these days anyway just due to work and lacking the time to think about it and shyte.

Ohhhhh ok. Haven't there been rallies about that lately? This lady who taught a concealed carry class in Cary convinced me I needed a shotgun.

^ Actually, no... He was in the airforce for a little bit but that wasn't really how we ended up in Havelock. We lived in Morehead City then my parents opened a bar in Havelock, so we moved closer to our business.

I'm not sure, but there was talk of a TWW OC/CC gathering at one point I think. Also, there's a lot of unusual activity going on in the "firearms world" right now as a result of Obama's election. He has pretty much become the biggest firearms salesman in history (In the US at least).

Yeah I heard gun sales have gone up a lot.. My stepdad said if I got a gun I had to promise to take it to the shooting range and become knowledgeable (I don't see I wouldn't, but whatever). What would you suggest?

PS I mainly want one because I will most likely be living in downtown Baltimore next year and I want some safety.

^^ Well, first of all make sure that whatever it is will be something you can own where you're moving. The guns and accessories that you can own in NC can't necessarily be owned in other states.

All of that aside, a 20 gauge (Or 12 gauge if you don't mind more recoil and/or happened to find a really good one) shotgun is most likely what I'd recommend for home defense in your case and that should be just fine to keep in your home up there.

Haha, yeah I know I could commute... But it's cheaper and I wouldn't have to pay for a parking permit since the med school is right there. The apartments aren't too outrageous in the area either. However... It's Baltimore. So I want my doggy and a gun if I'm living by myself.
