Slave Famous always forgets the generational gap between us

I'm from the 80s...he's from the mid-80s

Two different worlds

We're four years apart!

Its not like you grew up on Three's Company and Knot's Landing

see, Bob Odenkirk made that same joke to David Cross about how he was from the early 70s and Cross was from the mid 70s and how they were from two different worlds on Mr. Show

but you're too young to get the reference

Went on a Netflix spree last week and watched a few movies starting with Hot Tub Time Machine which was pretty funny if you have no expectations going into it. Also watched Kick-Ass and it was incredibly good. I had no idea what it was going to be about and it was probably one of the most entertaining action movies I've seen in a while, and very funny too. Then saw Heavy Metal in Baghdad which was a good documentary, I don't think I've seen on by Vice yet that was bad.

Wife has gotten me into watch Raising Hope the past few evenings and I've found it to be a fairly funny, mindless sitcom.

We had a "chip" back in the day. Playboy was on pretty much 24/7. I also enjoyed that practical joke show with Mary Carey.

So, wait, they replaced all the music? That's how this happened?

Not sure if this has been posted here, but I recently came across this site and it is very helpful:

http://feedfliks.com/streaming

It uses Netflix API to pull your viewing history in and provides some cool stats on your profile page. Also lets you see what's coming up on Netflix and what is going to expire soon so you can watch stuff before it disappears from streaming.

Halloween lineup on instant streaming was alot better last year...

House of the Devil and the Thing are excellent.

Trick 'r Treat and the Crazies are decent enough, but not great by any means.

I tried the Fog last night, and it was pretty goofy. Going to try the Paranormal Activity series next.

The Bleeding House

Interesting take on the idea of a stranger walking up to the house and the family letting him stay the evening. The stranger's acting was superb.

I've been on an 80s horror movie kick lately. Recommend some to me, folks. And mind you, they don't have to be great, just watchable. I like a good b-movie.

Already watched:
Slugs
C.H.U.D.
The Stuff
Monkey Shines
Killer Clowns From Outer Space

^ added to my queue. It got good reviews on the Netflix site, and 6.5 on IMDB. That leads me to believe it will be watchable.
