This is either an SEC, PAC10 or mid major guy, and the kind of money she's talking about sounds like its not a mid major guy.

My guess is Sean Miller is #1 candidate.

My point was that with their academic standards, it is very difficult to build a highly successful program in a short period of time. A lot of the program growth has to be organic, not to mention they have to battle much less regionalized recruiting structure in college basketball. Stanford will get there. I don't seethe point of arguing with people who think Sean miller will leave a better program for our shambles of one.

The year Dawkins came in, there was a complete turnover of the starting 5. Dawkins is a disciplinarian, something we badly need... No way would I take another year of Sid for Dawkins. It's ok though we'll never get him

why not Big East? why NOT Big East? Boeheim was quoted about a week ago saying he was considering retirement because the Big East had become "a real grind" presumably because of having 16 teams, a 5 day conference tourney, a shitload of great coaches and teams to compete against, etc...he's 66 years old...I think Coach K is around that age but I expect him to coach another 10 years or so, just my opinion...but who is to say some of the Big East guys like Wright or Dixon won't think to themselves "hey, why should I compete against 6-8 great teams every year to get worn down come NCAA tourney time when I can compete against 2 great teams every year and have a shot at a national title"

Might be farfetched, but might not...if I'm Jay Wright for example, and I'm making 2 million a year, always having good seasons, making some nice postseason runs, but never sealing the deal, possibly because there are too many other big fish in the pond, why not take a 3 million a year deal in another elite conference, and try to achieve my glory there?

One vibe I got from Towe earlier today in the presser was kind of that he was thankful to have a job...I don't think Wright is financially pressed but a lot of the top coaches in the country, not just Wright, make $1-$2 million a year, and while they're easily putting food on the table, a 33% or 50% salary increase is real talk

No hints or anything on Premium...no one knows anything. Doyel dispelled the (retarded) rumor that he knows who the next coach is. Honestly, why would Doyel, of all people, have that inside scoop?

Thankfully, I do not pay for Premium...I use my friend's account and read on there from time to time. It's no better than the free site in terms of breaking news or inside info.

That sire is only good for a idea of who might commit as far as recruiting, but that has gone down hill the last few years.

I like some of the write ups on recruits and also write ups on possible coaches, but i wouldn't pay. that is what wikki is for when looking up coaches. or just facebook stalk a recruit.

TOB is not on the hot seat. Both he and Yow have bragged about how football tied the second highest season-win total in school history (9). They both seem happy and on the same page.
