I've received 2 different Romney mailers. I can't quite figure out why given my party affiliation and high voter turnout even during runoffs. There is no voter database that should indicate me as an on the fence or as needing a voter turnout push. I'm not their base or an occasional voter. This just seems like sloppy targeting homework especially for big expensive glossy mailers like these.

Supplanter, did you vote in the GOP primary? I just read that if you're unaffiliated, you can vote in the GOP primary, so the GOP may have you in its mailing list from that.

FTR, I voted in the GOP primary in Ohio, and in that state, your party affiliation is determined entirely by which partisan primary you most recently voted in, so I get plenty of mailers from Republican organizations and candidates.



Also, GeniuSxBoY, methinks KPHO (CBS-5 Phoenix) was testing the chyron used for reporting of election results, using a fictitious set of results similar to 1992.

^^"taxpayer" is generally used for people, not for any entity that pays taxes in general. So in regard to the claim about "taxpayers" their answer is fine.

By the technical reading of their answer you are correct, but in regards to the intention behind the phrase "taxpayer" there is nothing wrong with it
