Luckily, they do have a ridiculously high rate of not having catastrophic things happen to them. If only every aircraft were maintained like the two modified 747's they use as "Air Force One's" though.

I think they should make a trans-atlantic, underwater high speed train. They've had the TGV over 300mph before, so it would be feasible and you could make the journey in a relatively short time period, especially compared to a boat.

Of course, then you get to be scared of the tunnel imploding while you're in it.

Then on the boat, you get to be frightened of it sinking or being attacked by pirates.

had a weird thought while looking out the window in the bathroom and peeing over the north pole, that it was july and hot as balls in both places i left, so if we went down it'd be hard times in flip flops, linen shorts, and a polo
