Percocet is made of more than one drug. That number is the ratio of one to another. In your case the 5 is the stronger of the two drugs. In other words, they didn't give you anything really strong.

PERCOCET IS OXYCODONE AND TYLENOL.

PERCODAN IS OXYCODONE AND IBUPROFEN IIRC.

WITH THE PERCOCET, THE 5 IS 5MG OF OXYCODONE, THE 525 IS REFERRING TO 525MG OF ACETAMINOPHEN.


AND YOU'LL NEED ABOUT 4 TO 6 OF THEM (20MG-30MG) TO REALLY BE FUCKED UP BY IT. IF YOU HAVE NO TOLERANCE, 6 WILL BE THE HEAT. DON'T TAKE OVER 6 THOUGH, BECAUSE ALL OF THAT TYLENOL IS GOING TO TAX THAT LIVER SON.


OXYCONTIN IS TIME RELEASED OXYCODONE BTW. "CONTIN" REFERS TO THE TIME RELEASE MECHANISM. THERE IS ALSO MS CONTIN, OR TIME RELEASED MORPHINE SULFATE. I DON'T RECOMMEND TAKING THE 200MG MS CONTIN WITHOUT ANY TOLERANCE. YOU MAY DIE. EVEN HALF OF ONE WILL HAVE YOU HUGGING A TOILET FOR 4-6 HOURS AND YOU'LL BE FUCKED UP FOR 12HRS+.

after my surgery I got (and still have) vicodin, which is hydrocodone and acetaminophen. I was given 5/250, BLAH. Had to take 2 at once to even feel a little fuzzy.

^^yeah, if they gave you the 10/500's which look to be pretty common they should help a lot. saabturbo is right on the dosage tho, 3000mg of tylenol/day is the max you wanna do

i wouldn't bother mixing them.. just go for the lortabs for now.. once you get ahead of the curve as far as pain is concerned then you can back off and try less.. it takes a lot more to get pain to stop than it does to maintain that point

so, i'd take as many as 4 at once then take the other two tonight
