I'm a bit scared for this 10K on sunday. I have not prepared at all and I skipped my run for earlier this week... eek. but I did run yesterday and I'm meeting some friends for a run today after work, question is should I run 6 miles today after work or should I do 4... I mean 6 would be good preparation but maybe it'll tired out my legs for Sunday, but Sunday is a long ways away, plenty of time to rest, I'll do two miles on Saturday and be ok for 6.2 on Sunday right.... or should I go for 4 and then 3 on saturday? hmmm I think I'll do 6 today and 2 on saturday and then the 6.2 on sunday.

the leftovers i just reheated, there was a mint sprig as a garnish on the plate, which made no sense at all...

and i reheated it with the mint, and the whole thing tasted like mint.

why there's mint on a roasted/fried pork belly with potato cakes and braised granny smith apple/red cabbage i'll never know.

He was offered a plea deal, but turned it down because it necessitated jail time. Based on the facts I saw, I thought the jury would come back with a fine, but no jail time. I did not think a Not Guilty was possible. However, it's likely that they were leaning in the direction of guilty for the other counts, and just couldn't get there. I think he deserved a guilty verdict, but I could have been convinced otherwise.
