What was your workout? Weight training, cardio? I'd say you should be able to do low impact cardio with no problems

I spent an hour weight training this morning. I did just enough cardio to get warmed up.

Really depends on what you consider "working out."

If you are doing pretty intense, targeted lifting then some time off might be good in between heavily targeting those specific spots again. However, if you are just "working out" by doing 30-60 minutes of some sort of cardio or really light lifting then there is definitely no problem with that.

When I was in the best shape of my life I was waking up in the morning to run a few miles and then going to a couple hours worth of intense wrestling practice in the afternoon. 3 nights a week I also went home and lifted for an hour after wrestling practice. The only thing I bothered putting recovery time in between was the lifting for the major muscle groups (which is why I only lifted about 3 days a week).

TLDR: I see absolutely no problem with doing some sort of cardio this afternoon after lifting this morning.

I'm doing cardio 6 days a week and strength training 3 days a week, but I'm a bit of a gym n00b. I started almost 2 months ago with a personal trainer, so when I go, I do exactly what she's told me to do for the week. She hasn't exactly gone into what to do if I find myself at the gym twice in one day. As a lardtard, she probably hasn't thought that I'd need that information.
