Actually thinking more on the subject, there is a possibility, so I'm wrong:

We'd have to get to play Wake Forest and then hope that each of the other 3 teams we'd have to play either forfeit or have their starting 5 held out with injuries, so yeah I guess there's that.

^ they were better coached and actually had game awareness. All evidence would point to that being Herb's doing, not Sidneys.

Out of 12 teams, one team will win. Before you consider any advantages, stengths, etc., each team has a 1/12 chance of winning. NC State has a chance of winning simply because they are in the ACC and will play in the tournament.

Do you agree?

8 of our 13 losses are to teams currently ranked in the top 25.
10 of our 16 ACC games are against the top half of the league.

Our schedule definitely didn't do us any favors this year.

we should have been in the top half of the league. 3 good freshmen, 1 great (but injured) senior center, a great shooter and other good role players... that shouldn't be a bottom half of the league team. we have as much talent as any team in the league not named UNC or Duke.

though on another note it really annoys me how lucky UNC has been in some of their wins. the fact that their team is 11-2 shows how down the league is

^ that is not necessarily true. Being from FL, I have friends that went to UF and have been to both football and basketball games in Gainesville. Yeah the general Wal Mart fan population for UF mainly likes football, but that is because many are rednecks that don't like basketball. Kind of a reverse situation with UNC. The UF alumni care about basketball success as well and want BD to stay as their coach.

UF fans are just lucky as fuck to have such great programs in both sports simultaneously.
