last i looked it was saturday which is the only day i'm truly concerned about b/c that's 1st birthday party day. but if it's gonna be friday so that saturday isn't as bad that would be excellent. though i'm sure both will equally suck.

i grew up with summer birthdays (aug 7) & wanted my kid to have the same options i did...although not with it being 100+ outside. winter & during-the-school-year birthdays that are confined to the indoors always seemed so depressing to me when i was little. parker is due aug 9

Yeah outdoor birthday parties were pretty much out for me as a kid.

The weather this weekend is going to blow. My husband's company is having some sort of company picnic on Saturday but we're seriously considering not going. I'd rather sit in a/c than be miserably hot outside.
