Our unit is cooling our house to 74 with no issues and it's old as hell. Meg I'd be raising hell, too. One of the benefits of renting is having someone else pay to fix the hvac. You could always sabotage the unit

When I went in for my recheck after my appendix surgery the doctor told me that it was very likely that I had actually perforated my appendix several days earlier, maybe even a week or two, and that it had leaked slowly forming a seal, and I just got used to the pain. I have a ton of ovarian cysts that get inflamed fairly frequently and sometimes rupture, and they don't really do anything for that at the doctor, so I really try to push through abdominal pain. I can't stand showing up to the doctor just to hear that it is another fucking cyst.
