the only thing with capes is I feel like I would eventually snap one day and flap my arms around to get the material out of my way - I don't like my coats and stuff to get caught in things

and ughhhhhh hurry up and get cold, Bama - I want to wear sweaters and not sweat

Has anybody noticed that the fall looks in magazines are really slouchy/shapeless this year? Fall is usually my favorite season because of the structured blazers, jeans, and dresses that come out after the summer months of floaty things. But this year I keep seeing ugly, bulky sweaters and unflattering drapery.

For example, if a real human wore this, you'd look like a hobo!!!! The model in the middle looks like a sister wife

I think I would also look like a seacow pregnant or not in those clothes. I think you have to have close to a board shape body to pull that off.

I went to Kohl's the other day and only found two sweaters that didn't make me look like a linebacker

these trends need to stop

stop shopping at stores/designers that sell trends

go for those that stick with classic sillouettes and update them year after year. You'll still get that structured blazer, but it may have a little ruffle this year....know what I mean?

Speaking of classic, anyone looking to buy some bright white dinnerware? I want restaurant quality stuff, but not 36 salad plates so maybe someone wants to split it?

there used to be a place at the Raleigh Flea Market (fairgrounds), it was inside a building and they sold restaurant quality stuff, white plates, checkered plates, utensils, etc.

you can buy items individually, not by lot

Has anyone on here tried Wen haircare? I am chopping off all my hair soon because it is SO damaged *sad* and I want to start the growing out process all over using better products. I'm thinking the cheap stuff i've been using was the main issue because I let my hair air dry 99.9% of the time and very rarely straighten it (once a month maybe)

basically i got sucked into an infomercial and bought it. it has pretty good reviews online though

so yea, anyone have good results? if not i'll keep you updated I guess

def upgrade your products. Go for sulfate-free hair products. Sulfates dry out your hair and turn it into a mess. You'll spend more ... but you don't need to use that much product.

Also, try not to wash your hair every day.

tip: sprinkling baby powder on your hair will help degrease it enough so you can have an updo with no worries. Thats what I've been doing on non-shampoo days.

Also, the company founder is a hottie. He looks dreamy on the site.

i have no idea it hasn't come in the mail yet. but i'll let you know

i'm kinda iffy just because its like a shampoo/conditioner in one thing and everyone is always NO NO NO DON'T DO THAT and it doesn't lather or anything. you just goop it all up in your hair comb it through....

but it supposed to be really good for color treated hair and i'm about to drop a lot of money dying mine so i'd like the dye to stay as longs as possible. that is worth 30 dollar bucks to me.

I looked at the ingredients list and it's sulfate-free, so that's reassuring. Def report on how it turns out.

The only thing that weirded me out from the site was that it tells you (in the FAQs) that you can use TONS of the product. Which does seem like a way for them to make more $$$ ... but since it's an all-in-one product, it does make sense that you'd use more product.

I'm pretty intrigued. But I just dropped $100 on Paul Mitchell products, so I'm not buying anything for a few months. Plz report back!

I always see their infomercials while I'm at the gym. I have been interested in trying it, but haven't had the balls to yet. My issue is I have a lot of thick hair that gets oily after about 24 hrs.....and I am worried that the bottle wouldn't be big enough for the amount of product I would need....so yeah, please do report back.

I love mine in navy
http://www.toms.com/womens/classics/navy-canvas-classics-shoes

I wear them all the time now that it's fall ( I wore them all spring) when I don't have to be dressy. They have held up really well, and are super comfortable. I wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5 and they fit just fine.

I tried some TOMs on at a local boutique and they looked hideous on my feet, don't know if it's because I have big feet, or the color, or what but it didn't work out so well. Damn shame too cause they were on sale.

I'm looking for casual/comfy shoes (but not sneakers) that I can wear with jeans during chillier weather, which is why I was looking at TOMS. Any other suggestions besides Sanuk's?

TOMs look like the shoes my students would wear because they constantly had to slip their shoes on and off at school. As such I will always think of them as kids shoes

i bought a pair of toms wedges but ended up returning them because i didnt like how they looked on my feet and went with nothing in my closet

also imo toms just look like they would stink to high heavens

im always seeing high schoolers around her running around in them (adults dont sport them here really) and they're always dirty as hell and discolored, hence why they look stinky

i agree!

not that these are super attractive, but if you can still find these, they are insanely comfortable. i have the green ones, tan/brown ones, & the orange ones
http://www.sierratradingpost.com/keen-willow-canvas-shoes-slip-ons-for-women~p~2273u/

i guess this is the new version. i've not tried these so i can't say how comfortable they are/aren't, but most everything keen is comfortable
