I'm making a chicken stew in the crock pot that will be served over rice. I'd really like to just add the rice to the crock pot and let it all cook together, but I know that adding rice right to start with will leave me with a mush at the end. FWP.

I FUCKING HATE GREENSBORO just because I can never leave. It is a great town to live in for a year or three, but it looses its charm when there is no exit sign. I have a job interview next week for a full time job and am DREADING it, just for the fact that it adds another layer of permanence to this stupid place.

It isn't a "can't seem" to get out, because I have a luxury hospitality background and could get a management job on any number of incredible island resorts around the country. :-/ The hangup is Boyfriend/lifepartner makes a lot more than I do (or potentially could even) and has his dream job at UNCG. He's older than I am, and much farther along in his career. He has made it clear he isn't interested in moving, and I've transferred all of my resentment to the town so I can try to not resent him for "holding me back" or whatever. I'm lucky to have found my soulmate and don't want to blow that off but when I initially moved in with him three years ago, Greensboro was supposed to be temporary before moving to a bigger city. This is the longest I've lived in one place since I was a child, so I'm just getting incredibly ansy.


Plus there aren't any beachfront resorts for me to run here, so said interview is for a desk job that will probably make me want to rip my face off, but its better than being in the red all the time, I guess. I'm fine most of the time, but sometimes I just want to scream at the internet because I don't have anyone to talk to about it.

I did that too and my bridesmaids looked amazing! I'm so glad I did that instead of choosing a dress for them. I wish the wedding I was in last week had done that. Instead she picked dresses that looked like they were made from giraffe pelts.

I've just randomly thought about when I eat I will drink a lot of water or lemonade. And by lemonade I mean just lemonade flavored water...

But I drink so much that other people notice how much I drink. And when I go out to eat 8 times out of 10 the waitress just leaves a picture of water sitting on the table for me...which I finish at least.

I've recently been thinking about this. And I drink a lot of water throughout the day. I have a 24 ounce tumbler that I keep at my desk and I fill it up probably 6 or 7 times a day.

Plus the water I drink at lunch and at dinner...probably two or three more 24 oz cups.

Is there such a thing as drinking too much water?

3^as long as you're drinking bc you are thirsty, you are probably okay. As ^ link says, water intoxication is rare.
