So last night I was talking to my boyfriend on the phone. He is very much miserable in how much he misses being home. This is his 4th summer up there and I think he is tired of spending so much time away from home and his family and friends. He said that when he gets home this winter he is going to work on finding a job down here.

But for now, he's stuck up there, and he's getting plenty of work and getting paid well, but he is miserable.

I'm trying to think of something I can do to help ease the pain. Aside from going up there right now, anyone have any ideas of something I can do? Maybe something I can send him?
I was thinking about maybe getting his mom and sister and a close friend of his to write a letter and I'll send them all to him in the mail. But I don't know if that is something that would excite him. He seems to really be feeling down lately.

I just want to do something for him to help him out.

So I went and picked up a few things.

I got him a I miss you card, a lighter shaped like a fishing rod, some candy, an Atlantic Beach post card, melatonin (cause we talked about it last night and he said that he is going to get some, but I know he will never really get around to getting it), and a container to put his coins in...so he won't have a pile of coins just sitting on his bedside table like he did last time I was there.
I think tomorrow I'll grab a couple packs of the cheap NC cigarettes to send to him.

I sent his mom and sister a text and they said they want to contribute, I don't know what they will put in it. I guess I'll try to put it out on Tuesday...hopefully get to him before next weekend.
