I've always taken thick to mean a girl had extra weight where it counts, which is definitely a good thing in my opinion.

I think the rule of thumb is that fat is attractive if it has a nipple on it or you sit on it.

The character is actually a teenager, though I admit I do not know her exact age off hand.
