While I agree that Theodore wasn't getting help from his D, it was far from a shooting gallery. Theodore allowed five goals on eighteen shots.

^what are you talking about? We've been having 6 defensemen for the past few weeks, until Commodore went down last night.

Commodore was out the past couple of games with the same injury - sounds like he simply rushed back into the lineup and reinjured/aggrivated the same thing. The Canes have been dealing with injured defensemen all season - it typically hasn't been a problem since Laviolette usually plays 7 guys on defense. Wallin, Hedican, Kaberle, Babchuk, Tverdovsky, Hutchinson - there's your six, unless one of them has an injury that I haven't heard about.

Speaking of the D, I was impressed with Babchuk last night - I'm looking forward to seeing him get even better once he gets situated with the team.

http://www.tsn.ca/columnists/bob_mckenzie.asp

Bob McKenzie says that Jack Johnson may sign with the Canes when Michigan's season ends, and be with the team for the end of the regular season and the playoffs. Not sure what the chances are of that happening, but McKenzie knows his stuff, and it would be awesome if it happened.

^^ Don't know any of the exact details, but OLN has rights to all of the NHL playoffs except for games 3-7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, which NBC has.

Aucoin is tiny, Ziggy is big.

Atlanta is full of goons and they're coached by a goon lover...Aucoin would get manhandled.

Ziggy also scored two goals last night.
