cause i mean 360s arent perfect, but mine did work fine from november 2005 when i got it until about a month ago...and microsoft is paying to fix/replace it...and paying for shipping

unlike sony who charged me about $15 shipping to "fix" my ps2 and then it broke again the day after i got it back

Rumor is that MLB 2K7 has been pushed up to February 27th. Semi-confirmed by product manager Ben Brinkman yesterday on gamespot.com's live show.

mlb2k6 was release a week earlier too, and you see the buggy piece that was hoepfully there aint the same issues this time around

ok, i registered my 360 (which i got at launch) to receive two free arcade games. well, the good news is that they gave me two arcades games, but the sad news it that they are predetermined. they gave me joust, and frogger.

^^^^yeah my PS1 and my PS2 both crapped out on me... And sony won't really help the consumer with the issues that come out.. My original Xbox & my 360 never had anything wrong with them... but it seems like Microsoft has better support.

I still like the PS & Xbox ....

but neither come close to the Dreamcast! Going strong for almost a decade!!!

yes, great online TONS of people and for most part no lag (it is some here and there, but you can expect that from any online game) in my opinion it is best online game out right now.

id like a game that i can get on semi-regularly with some of you guys and play. i miss the days of playing CS with the same ppl on bragaw's lan or Halo with 16ppl in Owen.

i dont play enough to be a master or anything, but im generally decent at most games.

mildew's game reviews so far (games I own & demos I've played):
The Good
-CoD3 is the best multiplayer i've played so far... the campaign is fun as well
-Fight Night Round 3 is FUN AS HELL
-NBA 2k7 is great and the graphics are some of the best I've seen in a bball game.
-Battlefield 2 was good as well - I only played the muliplayer demo, but the maps are huge and I love that
-FEAR is good if you get into the campaign mode
-GoW is a must play (but I rented it and probably won't buy it - I've played it at MOODY's as well and the online play just isn't that fun)
-Sneak King is a must
-Pocket Bike racer can be fun with friends
-Dead Rising is just plain fun
-Crackdown demo is pretty sweet... I just like the fact that you can gain enough strength throw cars, jump from building to building...etc... I may reserve mine this weekend...

The "eh"
-Perfect Dark is decent for the price now (especially for being one of the first releases, but I haven't played multiplayer with it yet).. if you just need a cheap game this will do.
-Madden is OK, I just haven't seen much change in the past few years... but I love the NFL, so it is a neccessity
-Blitz the League can be fun, but got old really quick
-Need for Speed Most Wanted: I liked it...a good racing game with some good cars


The Bad:
-Far Cry sucks (at least the multiplayer, that's all I played)
-Prey sucks (online is horrible!, the campaign is fun for ~35 seconds)
-Crazy Bumpin or wutever the other BK game is sucks
-Rumble Roses is fun to look at for a minute, but isn't really fun to play unless you study every move
-Same with Dead or Alive - BUT I think I could get into it... I've only played it for like 20 minutes and just never got the controls down so i got my ass whooped... pretty game though


Now a question: I almost bought the xbox live cam last night, but changed my mind... is it worth it???? Do they have any games for it like the EyeToy or is it just for customizing/having a cam?

doa4 is a great game. sucking at it for 20 mins is not a good reason to put it in the bad pile. doa is real hit or miss with fighting game fans, but at worst it is "alright." graphics are nice, it is very fast paced, and the new counter system makes it require more technique.

How long did you play GOW online and decide it was just ehhh??? cuz so far Ive been gettin my ass handed to me but Im getting better and actually get a kill every now and then. now that I know the maps a little better its more fun. I just need to aim that damn shot gun better. Ive been tryin to learn how to shoot from the hip but so far it aint happening.

A couple hours... I just think it is to linear. Everyone runs for a gun, ducks, and covers... It just didn't appeal to me... by all means it is a good game, the campaign is a must play & the graphics are amazing... but the replay value, for me, just isn't there (I know I'm in the minority, but oh well) I really think CoD3 is a better game...

similar in some ways, but not quite as tactical. the different classes in cod3 seems to have more uniqueness; in cod3 you can get shot but regain your health back, but only a few shots, or even one shot, will take you out like in vegas. the team dynamic is more fluid in cod3 since,since you can 'pseudo- run n' gun', as in vagas this almost never happens unless you are playing noobs, and have the medic right behind you to shoot you up with morphine to revive if you get critically wounded. overall vegas is a little slower, and i think think cod3 has more maps and more replay value. yes this is a biased opinion

the wireless adapter is a waste of money for several reasons. just hardwire it and you will be fine. this it creates less chances of disconnections and lag. 5 dolla ethernet cord ftw.
