^x7 umm...i'm sure that we have been recently rated by the Princeton Review as the second best public school based on value. it's been on the ncsu website for a good many days now. i'm sick of people bitching about tuition raises and what not. i would agree with having a fixed tuition from the time you enter, though. if NC was a smart state then they'd have a system set up like California and Florida where high school students with a 3.0 or higher can apply and get to go to any of the public colleges for free due to taxpayer money. that would also give more people the oppurtunity to go to college and it'd motivate students to do well in high school.

Not to get off topic, but 3.0 gpa would be a little low. I know some idiots that made a 3.0. I do agree that a certain GPA should give you an opportunity to go to school for free, even if its much higher, like 3.75. That would actually keep some of the smarter kids in state.
