Bobby Knight would be a serious candidate. Imagine the attention we'd get every game as they (he and K) race for the best ever. Then Knight would go down as being an "ncstate coach" in everyones recent memory. Would only help the program.

Its a lot easier to replace a RETIRING coach than it is to replace a FIRED coach. Theres just an ugly stigma after a fire.
