"The Red Terrors" is the best so far. The name needs to strike fear in our opponents. Also, it should get our fanbase into an elevated mindset for our games. Being called The Red Terrors will get this done. This persona should bring the rage back to NCSU sidelines. A crowd of Red Terror would be the best. Nothing funky will get it done. We need to behave like wolves and strike terror in our opponents.

Duke's student section are the Cameron Crazies, are they not?

It doesn't matter if they were the first school to do it. It matters that they are doing now, before us. I thought we were all of the mind that copying other schools was no good. ERGO, the red terrors is the best name. Not only because it goes with who we are, but because it's unique.

Lot of math fail going on in this thread...

I was pleased with Gottfried on Saturday. You guys already pointed out his constant energy. You also have to look at how our boys were playing. Constantly hussling and not giving up on the rebound.

The difference between Gottfried yelling and Lowe whistling is that Lowe was trying to direct traffic from the bench. You could see him pointing our routes and... well... basically doing what a point guard should be done on the court. It appeared that a lot of what Gottfried was doing was pumping them up, cheering them on, yelling at refs, and just boosting the energy on the sidelines. That was just my perception of what Gottfried was doing, but we'll get a better idea in the coming games.

This. But still, our guys could have easily given up on the game when they were down that much. One thing I've noticed is that with Gottfried we weather droughts because we don't lose that hustle and intensity nearly as much when we're down than before.
