i really want the baby to come today. it's my grandmother's birthday. we were very close & she died almost 2 years ago after a long, very very nasty battle with kidney cancer. we're naming the baby after her. please please please let me go into labor soon.

but no, i'm not interested in trying all these sketchy old wives tales methods of inducing labor.

I have an impossible deadline on a project at work. I've pretty much been working 12 hour days straight for awhile and will continue until the deadline next Friday and I am still not confident at all that I will have quality deliverables then because the scheduling on this job was terrible. They are trying to run every discipline in parallel and we never do that because it is very inefficient. Yet on a job with a ridiculous schedule they decide to run it in parallel

To make it more fun, it's the first project I am going to have to stamp as a PE (which has legal implications) and I am not confident at all in the design because I have had to rush, rush, rush and it is a type of building I never do so I don't have great experience to rely on. FML

crazy neighbor knocks on my door saying that something is wrong with her throat, said there was something stuck in there and that it didnt feel right. told her to drink water and she asked if 911 would cost her money. I said yes and that she prolly doesnt want to call 911. she does anyway, paramedics just rolled up

shes not, she's said before that shes scared to live by herself. medics told her it was a panic attack. I shouldnt have gotten all nosy and gone outside. she wanted me to come in and I was like "I'm watching this game" and she was like "oh are you busy" and I said "yeah, I'm watching this game" lol. told her to get some sleep and shes all "I cant eat I cant sleep I'm so depressed". part of me feels kind of bad for her but most of me doesnt wanna get involved

^i met my girlfriend and her 3yo son at the Carmike Cinemas in Cary/Morrisville (off 54 at Cary Parkway) for a matinee of Madagascar 3, and we were the only ones in the theater too. which was kinda awesome and turned out to be a good thing. bless his heart if he didn't ask us questions and loudly point things out during the whole thing.

It does, and it definitely worked.
We use frontline regularly, and it has always done the job. But it was no match for the flea infestation in that house i've also heard it's no match for beach fleas based on what my BIL was told by their vet, so *shrug*

Trying to keep her off the scabs she's given herself is the hard part.

good luck! my kitty kept scratching at a wound on her head until we had to get her a cone, oral antibiotics, and a 40 dollar miracle spray (it really was a miracle spray!) She now has a cool Harry Potter-esque scar.

Well it's my fault my body is hurting. I'm building up mileage, did 10 miles last weekend thought jeez this hurts should have an easy week now for a break. But easy week became a let's not run at all week and then I tried to run 8 miles my body was not prepared and I just know better. But atleast my cardio kept up

Also I'm sad I'm going to miss the womens marathon tmrw morning but I'm not going to wake up early to watch other people run on my only morning I get to sleep in. Also I'd have to wake up at 5am drive the 30 mins+ back to my place to get home in time for the gun

I wish there was an olympics app so I could watch on my phone
