Well, I've just heard a lot of good things about being a member of a credit union as opposed to a bank.

Plus, I have several checking accounts and I just need to get them all under control. Close everything out and get into one place.

And I've heard that a credit union is more likely to give me a car loan.

Well when I got my first job I got an account at BB&T. Then when I was in college I really liked the plan that Bank of America had where they round up each debit card purchase and put it in your savings. So I did that. Then last year, my friend started working at Wachovia and asked me to open an account there, so I did, with full intention of closing my other accounts and just doing Wachovia...but that never happened.

So I'm going to actually do it this time.
