ok here's the plan

my blackberry shit all over itself yesterday, 1 month out of warranty, with no insurance, and 11 months left on the at&t plan.

not eligible for a price discounted upgrade until march.

the t-mobile here has full 3g coverage on this half of the state, and g1 androids in stock, at 179 with a 2yr contract.

the compatible minutes + unlimited data plan is ~$40 / mo cheaper than the at&t plan i had previously, with unlimited bb package.

does it make sense to pay the $175 cancellation of contract penalty, trasnfer to tmobile, get the g1, pay the $180+activation+new plan?

It'd cost me over 200 (after rebate) for a new out of contract curve.... so it's relegated to the cost of the cancellation cost as the difference, of which will be valued out with the reduction in plan cost in under 5 months...

or that's how im going to justify it to myself
