I've also had half a piece of pizza (like, they cut it in half and put the other half back in the fridge) that was in a tupperware container, all but two pieces of a tomato mozzarella salad in a Pyrex dish, half of a sandwich thin, half of one homemade muffin and some other, very obviously personal foods stolen. I can't imagine seeing someone else's lunch in a closed container, getting that out of the fridge and taking some of it, then putting it back.

Nasty emails have been sent to the whole office several times. The last time, one of the owners responded that thievery was grounds for termination and if it continued to be a problem he would make certain the person was caught.

I work at a publishing company. Thing is, considering all the people in my office, some of them are a little odd, but I truly can't imagine anyone there doing this. And stuff goes missing during work hours, so it's not the cleaning crew.
