How much time do you have before you move? When I move, I set a number of boxes that have to be packed in a day. So, if I start a month before, I'll pack two a day for the month. Start with things that you won't need. So, childhood memorabilia, books, things hanging on the wall, and your extra kitchen gear, off-season clothing and decorations.

Unless you aren't talking about moving (but I seem to remember you are), and you're just going for a short trip. In that case, no help to you.
