They could just subpoena TWW. It would be a disaster for the cops to try asking a user directly what they got in their inbox. The user could just lie and say they made the confession up to be sensational. The proper response would be to demand that the investigator go through the proper legal channels.

I guess the confessor would likely use that defense anyway, but they would be denying something they directly confessed to, as opposed to the poster who did no such thing.

Ambien is awesome, but it is not meant to be used on a nightly basis. I've had an Rx for it for almost ten years and have a lifelong history of sleep issues. Most insurance companies will only pay for 20 pills in a 30 day span. And it's not a bad spread. If you take it too regularly, you build up a tolerance and have rebound insomnia. Most doctors only prescribe it as needed and only prescribe it on a nightly basis if it is the lesser of two evils. (Ie, you're an alcoholic who drinks to get to sleep...) Try to wean yourself off of it and look into less problematic sleep aids. I have pretty good results if I bounce between Benedryl and Unisom when trying to avoid Ambien.

I've tried Benadryl to get to sleep and it had just flat out zero effect. I even experimented with other products, like Simply Sleep. I can feel a little affected by the drug... but no more sleepy. I'm pretty much on my own for getting to sleep. I've thought to myself that it would be nice to be able to down some drug to force a new sleep schedule, but the biological clock won't budge.

So I guess anyone trying to rape me will just have to do it the old fashioned way.

I've been treated for sleep problems for about 15 years now. Under a doctor's care, I have tried:

Ambien, Sonata, Lunesta, Trazodone, Remeron, Phenergan, Klonopin, and Ativan, and then your OTCs like Diphenhydramine/Benedryl, Doxylamine/Unisom, and Melatonin.

They all work to a certain degree. But Ambien and Lunesta are probably the best if you weigh the effectiveness against the side effects. Some of the ones that work extremely well to get me to sleep just make me feel like crap the next day. Ambien and Lunesta don't. I just know to get in the bed first, then take my pill, and lay the fuck down to sleep. Otherwise, you gon' get raped.
