Wrong Pitts...

It's Rapture...

Then some unknown time...

Then the tribulation...

Then the second coming of Christ...

Then something...

Then the 1000 year reign of Christ on Earth...

Then Heaven...

...Voila. Bible Timeline

*Biblical Definitions*

Rapture - When Christ takes his church up into Paradise and leaves the Earth in the hands of the Anti-Christ

Tribulation - 7 Year period where the first half is the rise of the Anti-Christ, and the second half is literal Hell on Earth.

rapture is the removal of god's people from this earth...and according to what you believe...tribulation is either what follows, what comes before, or what's goin on during...tribulation is basically a time of chaos

don't worry, morphineboy, my life isnt exactly stellar either.

rapture: believers taken to heaven

tribulation: 7 years of basically hell on earth, massive destruction, wars, horrible plagues, etc. kinda like a small preview of hell.

The tribulation starts with the peace agreement between Antichrist and Israel. This should be after the Rapture. At the time, the world will love
Antichrist. He will establish a one-world government. Two unnamed witnesses will preach somewhere in Jereusalem until the halfway point, then
Antichrist will kill them, but then he will be assassinated. But then he will be resurrected as the Beast and will establish hell on earth. There will
be a mark required by all in order, to buy and sell. Anyone who receives the mark will be Damned for all eternity. However at the end of the
tribulation. Jesus will return to earth and defeat the Beast, and will rule the world in 1000 years of peace. There is much more to be said about
this. Anyone who wants to know more, or how to be sure you will not be left behind in the Rapture, IM me.

personally i urge everyone to examine their own life... life is fragile.... one day you could be gone in an instant... in my heart one day, i once wondered what afterlife would look like for me. some of the conclusions i came to were...

1. there was no way for sure to know what goes on after you die
2. why should i live in fear of where i go when i die, when i am offered eternal life with a God that supposedly sent His Son to die for me...

that question wasn't too hard to answer for me... it required faith... but i live with peace in my heart because I have confidence that when it is all said and done, I will have a personal relationship with my God.... what other religion can say that...

Yea Stinger, couple of things. The two witness will preach for years? I believe without rest at the Wailing Wall. They are named, but I can't remember right now, and don't have my books in Raleigh with me. Anyways, you also must mention that after the Rapture, your not screwed. Once this happens, when God whisks his church away in the twinkling of an eye, those that our left must make a choice. During this Tribulation many great plagues will befall the earth, meteors, plagues, locusts, earthquakes and other very bad shit. Here those that are left can choose to believe in Jesus, or not. If you do believe, you may die, as over half the worlds population will be killed in the plagues, if I recall correctly, but if not I think you go to hell. I know once the Mark of the Beast begins, it is an all out decision. You either take the Mark and go to hell, or you refuse and survive by whatever means necessary, or die. If you do survive all this by the end of the 7 years, Christ will return, overthrow the Antichrist, and establish his kingdom here. The Tribulation Saints that survive till will go to heaven once they die or the 1000 years is up, its getting late and I can't remember.

Anyways, I got all this shit from looking it up after reading the Left Behind series. A friends mom told me about it, and I ignored it for a long while. I'm a Christian and live a fairly Christian life, but I don't attend church as much as I should and have never been into Christian books/music or anything like that. But once I got one of these books, I couldn't get enough. Definitely not as in depth as Tom Clancy novels, but a good read for anybody. I went through these books in a day or two, about this time last year. Some of my bad grades my freshman year fall semester were results of this series. Its not for everybody, but if you like real life fiction stories, this one is great. Got something for everybody. Anyways, enough of that, I'm going to bed now. Night.

I could be wrong but I believe that in Revelation it talks of the differant countries in metephors, or symbols if you will. For instance, Russia is the "bear", Great Brittian is the "lion", and so forth, and so on. I do not however remember what "Our symbol" is in the book of Revelation. I am thinking it's an eagle, but it seems to obvious.

I will get back to you on that...

Ok... Just talked to my "Preacher Father" and was told that you could percieve America's symbol as the "eagle", but it is not found in Revelation. It is found in Isaiah, as the parable of the "eagle". It speaks of how the eagle will take a "twig" from Isreal, and make it a great nation. But, the "eagle" is not found in Revelation, or in any part of the new testament.

I do not classify myself as a Christian, I do however believe that there is a god, and that Jesus Christ walked the earth. But, I would be a hypocrite to claim myself a Christian, b/c of Christian teachings. I believe in the possiblilty of all things, and share many beliefs w/ other religions, not just Christianity. But; speaking for my dad, on a Christian level, he believes that this "war" has to do with Isreal, and every nation on earth will surround Isreal eventually, and destroy it, according to Revelation.

according to Revelation and what is says in Jeremiah, Israel will never be destroyed...but I see where you were going...

Quote :
"This is what the Lord says, He who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar - the Lord Almighty is His name. 'Only if these decrees vanish from My sight,' declares the Lord, 'will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before me.'"

(Jeremiah 32:35-36).
