Does anyone else get the feeling there's going to be major "concerns" in the media surrounding this game once it hits the public? Apparently the profanity is on par with a Tarintino film, not to mention racial stereotypes. I don't have a problem with it all, but you how the news media can spin things out of control. I'm going to be disappointed if Rockstar is forced to edit the content in the game or even worse, pull it off shelves (although i really don't see them pulling it) before i get my copy.

i would be disappointed if it didnt cause a stir. games like this, part of the fun is just that. just like u expect a lot of controversy out of various directors (perhaps Trey Parker??) i dont think they'd take it off the shelves.

i think it's probably going to be as offensive or more than the others. but as far as yanking it off the shelves? i don't think rockstar is that stupid. i'm sure they are very aware of what it takes to "cross that line", and they are probably standing right on it. enough to keep the game on the shelves.

I already pre-ordered a copy that will be here on Tuesday, but if I can still pre-order it from EB and pick it up at 7 tommorow night I'm going to do that, this just means I'll have an extra copy of the game on Tuesday

Electronics Botique is offering it to people who pre-ordered today after 7pm.

Though I am not sure if was limited to only people who got a personal call. EB was being tricky with their pre-orders because they kept saying they were going to stop allowing them, but up to last week they were still taking them.

I think individual stores got some big incentives by the number of pre-orders they had.

I went to EB about an hour ago with a friend and we both "pre-ordered" it and I get to pick it up at 7, I asked the guy at the counter and he said as long as you "pre-order" it by 6:59 and their initial shipment isn't sold out you can have it at 7, they had a few from their initial shipment (which the guy was taking off the truck when I was there) that hadn't been spoken for but this was an hour or so ago

Funny thing about all the graphical glitches and stuff. Those things always just cracked me up when playing the previous ones. Hell, the stupid AI made for some fun situations.

It only sucked when a bug caused you to get stuck somewhere (extremely rare).
