I think the GOP have thoroughly fucked themselves, and the Dems look good by comparison.

I'm still curious if in Smoker4's world, Santorum still has a chance in hell of retaining his senate seat. 11/29/2005 8:42:29 PM |

The GOP at least has a direction, even though it's headed toward fascism, it still has a direction. The Democrats have no direction. They only focus their efforts on bashing Bush and the Republicans, not coming up with any ideas of their own. What's sad is that we have to choose the lesser of the two evils when we vote, instead of voting for a candidate that will help force the federal government to uphold the Constitution instead of subverting it. 11/29/2005 10:06:16 PM |

Quote : | "Let me say a few words about important values we must demonstrate while all of us serve in government. First, we must always maintain the highest ethical standards. We must always ask ourselves not only what is legal, but what is right. There is no goal of government worth accomplishing if it cannot be accomplished with integrity.
Second, I want us to set an example of humility. As you work for the federal government there is no excuse for arrogance, and there’s never a reason to show disrespect for others. A new tone in Washington must begin with decency and fairness. I want everyone who represents our government to be known for these values.

i kinda hope the GOP gets beaten up just badly enough to cause some party reallignment for lesser sucking, but not badly enough that the Dems have control of either house of Congress. 1/31/2006 1:05:24 AM |

well your article would seem to promote A or B -- I'm just seeing if it changed anyone's mind
it pales in comparison to Deadeye Dick Cheney though, surely that's worth at least a half dozen "Completely and totally fucked" votes... 2/20/2006 10:03:02 PM |
