we had an RD in sullivan back in the late 90's that liked to rifle through trash cans in people's suites looking for beer cans.

She was one of those evangelical christian types.

whenever I came back to the dorms after a late party, i'd have my last piss before crashing for the night on her door. I bet that shit STILL smells.

Make sure you know 100% who she is. Contact the person in trouble. NCSU is required to have listed the RA who filed the complaint and the person in trouble will know.

Thought I agree drinking in your dorm room is about as stupid as going on a lunch date with esgargs, it's against the rules.

However, an RA, going through all the trouble and being that fucking nosey to do that to anyone deserves what she gets. Especially if someone shoudl call the police that she is smoking weed and someone tosses in about $10 worth of pot and a small pipe in her dorm room on top of her closet or somewhere she rarely looks.

She'll get kicked out of the dorm, and possible the university etc. Leave her a little not later "Next time mind your own business".

To me, it's one thing where you find alcohol in a trashcan outside the dorm room, it's completely another when you search online intentionally looking through multiple leads to find one picture like this.

Good job RA. You now made an enemy of every student in your hall and a lot of campus.

I think that this today's article only made things worse for the accused... http://www.technicianonline.com/story.php?id=012540 In there each person admits to drinking alcohol but then complains that it isn't fair that they got caught; instead the best approach should have to deny possession and jump right on the train of infringement of their rights and arbritray conclusions being drawn. Just because someone is holding an empty novelty shot glass does that mean they were drinking alcoholic beverages in it? I see it very possible that all this crap will be dropped once they take it to the appeals board, but that is such a waste of time on each of the accused's part.

something I find funny is that Alexander is for the "international" students, ie people from out of the country; yet the only wet dorm on campus is Bragaw. The irony is that in most other countries the drinking age is 18 or lower, thus should alexander not be flexable if not considered "wet".... not saying that that dorm should condone underage drinking by United States standards, but if you are going to call yourself an "international community" then at least attempt to be more welcoming.... this is all such a damn joke and absolutly pathetic on the part of University Housing

who's to say these pictures werent digitally altered like with photoshop? there are way too many what-if's and circumstantial evidence. a beer can in the background does not mean that underage people were drinking; it could have been a legal person's, etc. i find this to be complete bullshit and i severely hope these kids pool up some money and get a lawyer to represent them all in this.

Alexander is a wet dorm, but its rules are just like Bragaw...you're not supposed to have underagers in your room when u'r drinking unless they're your roommate. The underagers in the pics are prob being written up for underage possession and the person whose room it is is prob gettin' written up for having underagers in their room while consuming, in direct violation of housing policies.

I'm not justifying this shit. Personally, I think it's stupid as hell that this is being done. A digital pic on the web can't b used for proof, and besides, who can prove that any bottle is a beer bottle...i could take a pic w/ an IBC bottle and they'd think it was beer...Proof must b solid b4 they go writing ppl up.

BTW...I don't think Erin would've been the RA that did it...

the argument is not rather they could get into trouble or if they broke the rules. the problem is why some RA felt the need to play sheriff and bust a bunch of kids on the pictures he/she saw on facebook.

yes the university can and will punish the kids b.c of the evidence but this should nver reached them in the first place
