i worked with her at Sammy's too I haven't seen her in years but she was such an awesome girl.

And Sammy's reaction does not surprise me...it's typical of him.

Does anyone know how I can get my condolences to her family?
I heard about this last week but didn't realize who it was until yesterday. Lauren was a beautiful person with a bright smile. She always took great care of me and my late girlfriend when we went to Sammy's. She was my girlfriend's favorite server there and now they are both gone from this world.
I hate that the brightest lights seem to leave us the soonest.

Any info on how I can send my condolences to her family would be appreciated. Thanks.

That doesn't necessarily mean it was drugs. Plus, this guy, Sasser, could have just been talking shit about her because he was pissed over getting kicked out.

Does anyone know whether it was confirmed that she was raped? It seems sort of odd to rape someone who owes you money. You see people killed a lot over money, yes, but how often have you heard of rape being involved. The whole story seems a little fishy that collecting a debt was their only plan. (and if so, how did it end up in murder)

It seems like some of the posters (luckily not the majority) here are just waiting to make demon out of the victim. We don't know what the money was for (if there was an actual debt). It could have been from a bill he paid while they were living together. Why does it matter what the debt was for? Will it justify her death if it was for drugs? No.
