Okay, I have family that used to live in Tehran. My aunt is American, and she married an Iranian man. I just wanted to make it clear that these laws are meaningless. There's also a law against satellite television that nobody obeys. I mean, perhaps the overall tone is changing, but I believe that Iran is just too Western to turn back now.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that Iran has had crazy laws since forever. The average Iranian citizen doesn't obey the laws, and the average Iranian citizen still hates America, whether he loves Night Rider or Fiddy Cent or whatever...

And, oh yeah, all Semitic religions are tainted by bloodshed and corruption. There's no use in arguing that Jews, Christians, and Muslims can somehow be rated at different levels of evil. Though Jesus does win as far as being one cool mother fucker goes.
