you should clarify this for people who may be just starting out and for poeple who have been lifting for many years
i have had some very good gains come from machine exercises before, but i religiously use free weights, so while your statement might be true for beginners it is not necessarily true for others

depends on what your goals are
and yes you need somewhat of a goal if you want to be happy with any results you get

I don't know if something along these lines have been said but I was once like you.
I was 6'2" and weighed about 155 give or take 5 lbs. The best advice and what worked for me.....
Wait about 6 to 8 years. I promise you'll start to gain weight. I weigh about 180 now. Granted it's not muscle mass. 3/9/2006 10:06:03 AM |
