I got a battery pack on my 10D. It gives me longer battery life and vertical shutter button. Also, it shows I´m serious about my photographer and not just some rich bitch that can afford to buy a DSLR 3/7/2006 2:51:49 PM |

I like a bigger camera because I have big hands and it is easier to function and operate. The 350D feels kinda small in my hands, plus a bigger camera I find is easier to keep steady. Plus, when you get some long glass on there it won't seem AS awkward if your camera is a bit bigger and heavier.

i love vertical shots AND looking more core than others

i just called every circuit city in the area and warned them that a guy named Ronny is going to break a canon xt intentionally and try to cash in on the accident protection 3/7/2006 3:19:11 PM |

I work at Circuit City, dipshit. I asked my manager if there was any way I could exchange the camera I have now towards a better one. I'll say that again... I discussed this with a manager, and found out it cannot be done.
Nice try though.
^And yeah, that 18-55 lens is complete garbage.

I can't hate, it is still the only lens I have simply because I can't afford anything new at the moment. And instead of buying another mediocre lens for a hundred bucks, I'm just going to wait until I can afford something nice.

the more i look at it
the more i think that is my 50mm
and i love my 50mm
^you should really just drop the mid-level money and get one from a couple years ago the 1.8 is just as good as the new 1.4 (unless you are willing to spring for the USM) 3/7/2006 4:21:42 PM |
Ronny All American 30652 Posts user info edit post |
You have the 50mm compact macro? That is a damn good lens. I was gonna save an extra 150 or so and get the 60mm, just because I heard it is L quality glass and half the cost. 3/7/2006 5:23:07 PM |

Sure I'll take pics of TWW hotties ladies.
Metricula does live next door to me after all. However, to avoid being creepy (see:iphotou) I won't ask anyone if I can take pictures of them for TWW. 3/7/2006 5:33:49 PM |

first shot: interesting that theres such a definite falloff point of the focus on the wallet - nice that its pretty abstract at first glance.
second shot: seems to feel a bit grey overall? but very cool subject to shoot.
third shot: i like the soft white reflection on the bowl a lot, but the actual subject doesn't really do anything for me

when i took the shot of the people getting on the bus, the bus driver layed on the horn, then ran out, and got up in my face, very angry...
him: "did you take my picture?!?!" me: "naw man, you weren't in the shot" him: "you can't do that! this is the MTA!!" me: walking away

don't adjust 8mb. adjust a small version and try out what you want to do, then do it to the big version. You can just have a script run adjustments 3/26/2006 11:44:36 PM |
