way to generalize. and i'd like to understand how the "over 21" crowd remember good days of state? our last championship was in 1983, when 21 year olds weren't born yet. the only people who would remember ncsu when we were much better than we are now are people who are 35 or older i'd say. 1970s-era wolfpack and before.

i'm 23, and have been following ncsu since i was about 10. While, I'm not happy with our performance in the past few games, I don't really know that changing coaches is the solution. I think there need to be changes, but I think that we should give herb the opportunity to make those changes.

What coach do you think we could ever possibly get in the future if we were to can herb now? Or even if he decides to leave because the horrible fan treatment? NCSU is not a powerhouse, thus we can't just trade up for a more elite coach. herb has been a consistent, and respectable coach. he's moved us from an nit squad to an ncaa squad.

Do you think herb is pleased with the team's performance the past couple weeks? i really doubt it. I also love that "we can't win late game situations" when we won TWO double ot away games this season. sure we lost one double ot, but that was against a very good boston college team.

i guess my point is: you're basing way too much off of a few games. overall this season was a step in the right direction. we just didn't hit our stride at the right time.
