na, joking aside, for you AVERAGE driver, awd will save their ass when they try and shift mid turn and over accelerate, etc (in a car that actually has power). Ive let friends drive my vette after driving their wrx, sti, etc and they cant get off the damn light in it, and damn near spun it out in a turn (thats the last time they drove it of course). Now expert drivers surely are different, but i think there is no argument that awd is simply easier to drive.....

I'd personally go with the M5 unless you can afford a newer S4, because as was mentioned earlier, the sound is intoxicating. The M5 also sounds great.
