1 Duke player suspended from a stellar Lacrosse team and an amazing school (lucrative degree if he was in it for the schooling)

Duke's team done for the season

Duke's coach gone w/ a tainted history (although completely innocent)

Life made extremely difficult for all the team's members for no good reason

Don't tell me "Well, they shouldn't have had a party + strippers". They are American males over age 18. In this country they have the right to party and invite strippers. To be fair, we know she's lying about the members of the lacrosse team raping her. However, we don't know if she's lying about being raped. This is what I think is more sad than anything else. A whole fucking season gone. For what? Because some dumb bitch probably lied. A coach and his life, gone. A ton of players who for all we know, could have been decent guys (I seriously doubt the whole team consisted of nothing but arrgoant assholes, even if there were only like one or two nice people on the team), now don't get to play or compete.

This isn't deplorable behavior!! Jesus H Christ. They had a party. All college kids have parties. Where.. WHERE on the fucking map, do you have normal college kids who don't have parties? He wouldn't have indicted them if he didn't have had at least a case. If he loses the trial he would be looked at in Durham like the O.J. Simpson prosecutor is now in L.A.

Smart move getting a black lawyer for defense, although a better one would've been to have gotten a black female lawyer considering it's rape.

Duke lives up to its stereotype again: one of the indicted players are from New Jersey and the other is from Long Island and they have high-priced lawyers.
