the lady that fills out my FAFSA and reports scholarships really screwed me up this year

You shouldn't ever let someone else do your FAFSA, unless you've got a physical disability keeping you from doing it

There is no reason that your FAFSA being late should keep them from adjusting your aid. And if they were, the fact that she submitted an inaccurate FAFSA is another way to have them re-evaluate.

the reason I said to modify your FAFSA was because that's something that would cause them to re-evaluate your financial aid.

if your account says "Pay This Amount: $ 0.00" then you don't have to worry about it. If you have a balance then you should go ahead and pay it as soon as possible.

Are you really not understanding that the cashier's office recognizes financial aid, and won't drop you? They know funds can't be disbursed until the first day of classes.
This has been beaten to death EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

nah, i'm getting like 4883 in the fall for financial aid, and i owe 2400 for the tuition

yeah...if you haven't figured this out yet, you might want to consider switching to a community college, where you'd be able to afford tuition out of pocket, since it seems understanding financial aid is something you aren't capable of. heck, even looking at events in years past is too hard, it seems. I think McDonald's might be your cup of tea.

the problem with the Account Summary is that is doesnt get updated often enough. For those of you still believe your schedule will be dropped even though you have financial aid (because it says Pay This Amount):

1) in the packtracks menu select Registration and type in PIN, yada yada...
2) Go to the bottom of your listed schedule and click on the button that says "Calculate Tuition and Fee..."
3) it should bring up another page; that is up to date Account information and for those of you with Financial Aid, you should see Please Pay: $ 0.00 in red

News: I just remembered that I read they changed things on the CO webpage. I called, and Fin Aid will pay the cashiers office on Monday. So much for anymore getting money early!

If my award is ready to be disbursed, does that mean I'm golden (I have DD set up)? The only reason I ask is because last year I had to sign a MPN through my lender (CFNC). I haven't gotton anything in the mail let but it does have my "awards" established and like I said it says it's ready to be disbursed.
