2006 Chicago White Sox Problems

1. Brian Anderson is not ready for MLB. This would not have been a huge concern if Rob Mackowiak was not the CF replacement. Unfortunately, there is no role for Mack on this team and his defense is so bad in CF that he's a liability. I know KW traded Damaso Marte for Mackowiak and that getting rid of Marte had to be done but a solid RP should have been acquired instead.
2. Ozzie Guillen, who triumphed his four ALCS CGs last year, has no concept of pulling a pitcher at the right time. He's also made a real horse's ass out of himself to the media.
3. 2005: Career Years . 2006: Anti-career years. Generally though, the SP has been downright awful. Half of their wins are like 5/6ER and the offense bailed them out.
4. Thome is incredibly streaky.
