I've never cared for any of Kevin Smith's movies, fell asleep during Clerks. I'll probably check this out when on DVD just to give it another shot, but generally don't understand the cult following. But I guess that's why it's "cult." 7/22/2006 9:17:53 PM |

^^ Did you fall asleep before "thirty-seven?" Because Harvey Weinstein walked out of Clerks the first time he saw it and then once they made him stay past "thirty-seven" he bought the fucking picture. 7/23/2006 12:41:04 AM |

i thought it was 5/10. in alot of scenes the jokes and the dialogue felt forced. some parts were extremely funny (all the Jay parts). aside from that i didn't have the punch I expected. it's worth seeing, but not worth adding to the DVD collection or anything. 7/23/2006 5:50:17 PM |

I had a fine time. Trevor was cracking me up left and right.
I could've done with it ending one line before it did, though. Also, did it bother anyone else that even Becky kept referring to Emma as "one of those pretty girls" when Jennifer Schwalbach is most obviously not one? I mean, I can understand it coming from Dante in those situations, and I know Kevin is all gaga over his wife, but I just wasn't buying it.
P.S. Emma Bunting is Baby Spice's real name. 7/24/2006 4:49:30 PM |

Randal fucking owns this movie. Every scene with him in it is either hilarious or emotionally gripping. Im not sure how I would rate it among the other Askewniverse films. I didn't like it as much as the first Clerks only because the first 30-40 minutes seemed to be one excuse after another to talk about pop culture. I also don't think the dialogue matches up to the first one.
I still thought this movie was fucking hilarious. Jay and Silent Bob singing along to King Diamond and the whole Buffalo Bill thing had me losing it. If you're a fan of any of Smith's films I definitely recommend seeing it. 7/24/2006 5:07:48 PM |

I saw it tonight. I thought it was hilarious. The part were Elias is telling Randal about the pussy troll. Randal's look just had me rolling. The Porch Monkey bit with Wanda Sykes and Earthquake was hilarious. The only thing that sucked was the theater I was at the projector cut out for about 5 minutes and the fucking teeny boppers who spent the whole movie texting friends on their cellphones. 7/29/2006 11:45:52 PM |
