Chances are I'm not going to wait in a 1000 person line to get into section 7 and 8. So that would put me probably in one of the endzones. I'd rather sit in section 14 than the endzone though. So say they're giving stamps for the endzones, can I request a Section 14 stamp?

if it really bothers you, and you want to sit in sec 14...ask the scanner BEFORE he places a stamp on your hand and he will send you to the student ticket window at gate 10 to get a stamp for sec 14

as has been said, it costs more to print ticket.

it also does nothing for pass ups. So unless they are going to go through the section during the game and make sure everyone has a ticket, this would not solve over-crowding.

what if instead of stamping hands, they stamped somewhere on the ticket after it is scanned in?

that way maybe somebody could bring a couple id's and tickets from friends and then get them all scanned/stamped and the group stays together

like on the ticket printout have a box where the stamp goes

ok well stamp the paper and the hand, and then the person takes the stamped tickets back to the friends and they get their hand stamped with the appropriate stamp when they show their stamped ticket at the gate.

with the way it is now, you have to all be together. my suggestion was if you weren't all there, you could bring someone else's ticket and get it stamped to be in the section with you, and then they have to show that ticket to the person at the gate when they do come in to get the correct stamp to sit with you.

breaking up groups of friends and people, forcing people to get there at certain times, and then you have no control on where you sit? i sit with a block of about 20+ people, part of the fun of the game is having 20+ people around me that actually like ncsu football, and have some football knowledge. there is no way all 20 of us are going to get into the stadium at the same time, we always just met up in our section.

so i say again, if the rest of the stadium was fine, and 7 and 8 are the problem, then why change everything just because of 7 and 8?

Yeah it took my ticket a second to print, and yes I am sure it was a volume issue. This is a high demand game and since they changed on-demand time from 3:00am to only midnight, there are a lot more people that are willing to be up for it.

try clicking on my tickets, does it say you have a ticket and have the button to print it? if so then you have a ticket, its just slow printing them, generating the code and shit, but you should have one no matter what, i would save that web page though in case something happens then you can print it out and bitch slap fowler upside the head with it, and stafford too, make it a double slap

all student tickets are GA now....seating is first come first serve through the gate...the first 2600 people will get a hand stamp for section 7/8, the next set will get SEZ (South End Zone), the next set will get NOR (North End Zone) and the last group through the gate will get 14/15

This is all covered in other threads in Sports Talk, and has been printed every day in the technician
