this was a great run by T. Baker. The zone read run.




He got the ball upon handoff, power stepped faked right, read the line, the BAM around the left side. That run was so dad-gom sweet!

Its going to be hard to stop us, when we run plays like this and our line executes. Im watching film right now, and they really did a good job. Evans had light years to pass the ball. GG guys. Sweet job!!

Our line did not block this well in previous games. And I watched all of them. Thats another thing that helped evans out. If they only blocked for Stone like this...But as long as we win im happy.

How can you possibly advocate playing Marcus Stone as QB? Someone mentioned that he beat VT. Give me a break. He was 29% for 14 yards in that game. Not to mention we won on a MISSED Field Goal. That’s the difference. With Stone we never won games on offense. Same with FSU last year, he played decent, but the defense won that game. We had two huge interceptions to overcome our inept offense at the end of the game.

Last year you could say well Stone is the right man because we are winning games. However, he lost to Southern Miss and Akron this year, so you cant use that anymore. I don’t necessary agree with this, but Amato has already compared Evans to Rivers. Did he ever do this with Stone? I like Stone and I think he has talent, but he just couldn’t produce.

He has more experience in big game situations. A more powerful arm, the potetial to scramble for the first down if needed. Adds another dimension to our offense. Evans hasn't faced pressure AT ALL. When he did face the smallest about of pocket pressure, he panicked and looked frightened. You won't see that with Stone.

FSU is going to try and kill evans. Its sad but its the truth. And I would at least want to have a qb that is capable of running over LBs' in the game.

This is the worst post you have ever made. The MAIN reason Stone is benched is because of his QB presence and mind. He looks like a chicken with his head cut off. When Stone is pressured, he runs like hell and ends up getting nothing.

Stone only loss two games for us. Evans had one good game, he still has yet to prove him self. Everyone is just so hasty to jump to conclusions. Other than the miraculous throw and catch, our Rbs won that game for us.

Passing is going to be difficult against Fsu. I dont see evans being very successful against that defense. Stone will return, I promise you.

And evidently Im not the only one who believes in this. You people just enjoy trolling, and don't really look into reality the way you should. Its a such thing called "sports knowledge" and most of you posters just don't possess it. Ive only seen trace amounts thus far.

earl i've supported you since day one but im gonna have to go ahead and draw the line here. im sorry

you are dead wrong on this one.

evans made several amazing plays including 3 very hard throws to the sideline on a sideline preven defense on that last throw. the 2nd to last throw was a throw that not many qbs in the nfl could make. there was lb help under the corner safety help over and man under coverage and he put the ball on the money. there was about a 1 foot radius where that ball couldve been put.

evans hit throw after throw all night and when the pocket broke down he scrambled while still keeping his eyes upsfield to make a play.

wehn the pocket broke down on stone that was it. he would just run around and almost never pick up yardage. if stone was gaining huge rushing ammounts off scrambling you might have a weak arguement but you have nothing on this.
