i just watched last weeks episode. i have to say it was one of if not the best episode of the season. still not much football but you can really see the character development and maturity, which can be the mark of a great show

I still work at HS and have yet to see any chicks as hot as Lila. Hell, the coaches daughter on the show is definitely got it going on as well, but all the coaches around here have girls that look like dykes.

yeah i've never thought about it but the character development (and acting quality to a point) has been superb on this show. i'm glad its heavy on that and light on the football. (if you really want to watch some ball i hear the nfl has a few games coming up )

Anyone heard any info about another season of this show? I hope they bring it back because it is something that I really love.

Also, during the episode where they had Smash get the money from his church members to buy roids I sat watching in disbelief. I couldn't believe that the guy would do something like that.

Also, does anyone else think that Lyla is the hottest chick on TV?

So the movie came on FX tonight and I didn't realize how similar the two are. The mom is the same actress in both, the guy that plays Buddy Garrity is in the movie (idk if it's the same character or not though), and a couple other things I noticed. Makes me wonder if the show is supposed to be a continuation of the same story or what?

I don't think it is the same story. They are different teams. The TV show is a fictional team, while the movie was real.
