i understand that. i'm never expected him to be a go to the hoop guy. 3s are layups for him anyway and its almost impossible to keep someone from getting a 3 off. he just isn't hitting them like he used to. i blame the foot. 3/15/2007 1:48:19 PM |

It's probably a little of both. The foot is likely a factor but I still don't see him being anything more than a role player at best. 10-15 minutes a night. No NBA team is going to even try to run the offense through him since he is mostly one-dimensional and the NBA defenders are athletic enough to make every shot difficult.. 3/15/2007 1:50:10 PM |

thats a really dumb comment considering duke was better before he came. ewing and duhon were the last of duke's dynasty. Redick was the best scorer ever but he wasn't a great winner like the immortal duke guards were. and yes, nobody could take over the modern game the way he did. if you don't know what i;m talking about watch the texas game. 3/16/2007 2:12:10 AM |

Okay for the people in here arguing that Redick doesn't have enough athleticism to thrive in the NBA,

i'll completely concede that he does have great range
however i think you might should realize that the reason he hit a lot of those college shots were because he was open from multiple screens...he cant get open on his own...being a great college player DOES NOT mean you will be a great NBA player...or even a decent NBA player 3/16/2007 2:00:03 PM |

^ right, there is barely even any correlation between the two.
Look at guys like Gerald Wallace who were 5 ppg in college and then go on to be 16 ppg in teh NBA 3/16/2007 2:22:26 PM |

How are they going to win when JJ's guy beats him every single possession?
ATTN: Beardawg61: Lock this shit now that it could be confused for JJ Hickson.
